About Me
A day without music is a day wasted...
To say I love sound and music would be an understatement. It's more like breathing. I've been singing and writing music for as long as I can remember. I took piano lessons at 4, taught myself guitar and bass at 12, and earned a BA in Electronic Arts from San Francisco State University. During my college years I learned how to record and mix audio. From there I worked for the Film Department at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, working as a sound editor, video editor and boom operator. At the Academy I was able to connect with many talented filmmakers and with their films I dived into the world of sound design, music production, video editing and scoring. 10 years ago I started my multimedia business and now I get to work with music, videos, and podcasts everyday. Life is good. Currently, I also work with YouTube recording voiceovers and working with AI to create and edit voiceovers.
As for my musical style, I'm a bit of a chameleon. I enjoy all the different genres of music and work with them all. Jazz, Pop, Classical, Electronic, Folk, Rock, R & B, and Reggae. I'm also a big fan of Flamenco, Bossa Nova, and Cuban music. Some of my favorite and most influential artists are The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Beethoven, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, No Doubt, Portishead, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, Sam Cooke, Gipsy Kings, M83, Washed Out, Disclosure, and Tame Impala.
