About Me

A day without music is a day wasted...

To say I love music would be an understatement.  It's more like breathing.  I've been singing and writing music for as long as I can remember.  I took piano lessons at 4, taught myself guitar and bass at 12, and earned a BA in Electronic Arts from San Francisco State University.  During my college years I learned how to record and mix audio.  From there I worked for the Film Department at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, working as a sound editor and boom operator.  At the Academy I was able to connect with many talented filmmakers and with their films I dived into the world of sound design, music production, and scoring.  Two years ago I decided I wanted to be my own boss and started my own music production business and now I get to work on music everyday. Life is good.

As for my musical style, I'm a bit of a chameleon. I enjoy all the different genres of music and work with them all.  Jazz, Pop, EDM, Folk, Rock, R & B,  Rap, Reggae, and Country. I'm also a big fan of Flamenco, Bossa Nova, Cuban music. Some of my favorite and most influential artists are The Beatles, Beethoven, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, No Doubt, Portishead, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, Gipsy Kings, M83, Washed Out, Disclosure, and Tame Impala.
